Situated along the banks of the Layon River, a tributary of the mighty Loire, and over-lapping into Saumur, Coteaux du Layon has been recognised as an important area for sweet wine production for centuries, where the humid conditions favour the Botrytis spores which give such intensity to the Chenin Blanc grape. Yields are kept to 30HL/Ha, and harvesting is done by hand.
Our suppliers come from all around the world, but they share one common goal – quality.
